A special shout out to lauric acid in particular — it’s so obsessed with hair proteins that it actually penetrates into the hair shaft, which is why coconut oil is such an effective provider of long-lasting moisture.
Apricot Oil is super high in Omega 9 essential acids, which help keep hair moisturized and supple. It’s also a humectant, which means it absorbs small amounts of water from the air’s humidity that may help maintain a barrier of hydration inside each strand of hair and on your scalp.
